I have a copy of a quiet claim (title search) filing that is dated Adams Cty,1911. However, the property in question goes back to 1850's. My surname, GODARD, is listed second.Other names are: EBENEZER JESSUP, GEORGE HEATH, EDWARD G. COXEN, J. W. MAJORS, DAVID DELLINGER, JOHN SHRANK/SHRENK, JOHN W. ANDREWS, A.W. (AMOS) CHILCOTE, M.E. SHRENK, NORMAN ACKER, J.L. HARPER, J.C. (JAMES) CASTO, ADAM AULT, HUGH GILLIAND, ANTHONY MCQUEEN,JOHN M. ARCHER,IRA STEELE, GIDEON BARNETT, JOHN W. HILL, ISAAC KIZER, HENRY C. STETTLER/STUTTLER, JOB C. HILL. The wives' names are listed in some instances. Would love to hear from any others who are decendants of these folks to gain a little background on thier relationships. Ebenezer Jessup and his brother Edward, were "front men" for buyers of large parcels of land. They did this from CT, OH to IN and maybe other places too. I suspect that all these folks were long deceased, and this claim was to prohibit any further claims by heirs of these folks. I also suspect that E.
