Today August 4, 2000 My wife and I visited the Clark's Chapel Cemetery in Adams County, Indiana. It has been a while since we had been there and we were appalled at what is being done there. Someone is dumping dirt in the cemetery. There had been several truck loads of dirt dumped in the back end of the drive into the cemetery. It looks like someone dug a basement for a house and dumped their excess dirt there. Who is responsible for this and who can we contact to make a complaint to. Since I do not live in Adams County I doubt the county commissioners would pay me no mind, but I would be willing to try. My wife's grandparents great-grandparents and several other ancestors are buried in this cemetery. This is very heartbreaking. Any help would be greatly appreciated. G.
