Louisville (KY) Courier-Journal, January 7, 1893, p. 10. Madison Hubbard, a prominent citizen of Scottsburg, Ind., was dangerously hurt at that place on Thursday night. He was in a sleigh when Edward Everitt, who was driving a cutter, came dashing along. Suddenly, Everitt's horses became frightened and ran into Hubbard's sleigh. The tongue of Everitt's sleigh struck Hubbard on the head, and the man's skull was fractured. There is a probability of his dying.
