The greatest effort was made to keep the place of his death a secret, and the remains were shipped Thursday night to his relatives. The facts in the case did not become public until yesterday. He died in a squalid hovel in the most disreputable portion of Louisville, and it was learned he had been a frequent visitor there for several years. Death was caused by heart disease.
