Nichols, a colored lady living near Mitchell, has filed suit against the B. & O.S. W. for $10,000 damages for the death of her husband, Charles L. Nichols, who was killed on a crossing three miles east of Mitchell about two weeks ago while driving a team of mules hitched to a wagon across the track. John H. Edwards and S. B. Lowe are attorneys for plaintiff.
