MURDERED FOR MONEY Louisville, Ky., September 20-At Scottsburg, Ind., this morning Conrad Starts, agent at Jeffersonville for Frank Fehr's brewery of this city, was found murdered in his room at the hotel. Scottsburg is a small village about 35miles north of Jeffersonville. Starts had gone there last night with the intention of buying a large piece of property today and had a considerable sum of money. When found, he was lying with his body on the bed and his feet on the floor. His throat was cut from ear to ear. The bed clothing and furniture showed evidences of a short struggle. No weapon nor any clue has been found, but it is considered certainly a murder for money.
