Tatlock was born in Washington County near Salem, Indiana, October 28, 1827. Died at his home in Canton on July 20, 1893, aged 65 years, 8 months and 23 days. He was married to Amanda Sullivan, December 11, 1856, by which union they had eight children all of whom are still living. Forty-two years ago, during the pastorate of Rev. Whitson, he united with the Methodist Church at Salem and was happily converted to God. Funeral services were held at the Franklin Church one and one-half miles north of Canton conducted by Rev. Heaton accompanied with remarks b Rev. Cadwell and Samuel Trueblood.
