Bloomington (Monroe County, Indiana) Progress, February 7, 1872, p. 2. Sarah Ripperdam of Corydon accents the last syllable in her name in a very unladylike manner. It cost Sarah $284.67 to pursue George E. Kourtner through the courts to recover an equivalent for her blasted affections. George says he wasn't Kourtner at all and admonishes her not to Ripperdam head off over the matter.
