Paoli (IN) Republican, January 27, 1915, p. 5. The case of the State vs. Wilbur Miller for killing Grant McCory at Salem last summer was set for trial in the Lawrence Circuit Court yesterday. The Bedford Mail, in speaking of the trial, said that a special venire of 30 names had been ordered drawn from the jury box. The Mail said there was quite an array of legal talent for the trial consisting of the prosecuting attorney of Lawrence County, Thomas P. Masterson, prosecuting attorney of this circuit, Elliott & Houston of Salem, and McCart & McCart of Paoli for the prosecution, while the defendant would be represented by the Stotsenburg & Weathers of New Albany, and Mitchell & Mitchell of Salem.
