Brown County (IN) Democrat, May 7, 1914, p. 5. Spencer, 3-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Homer Browning, died last Friday at the home near Helmsburg, death resulting from whooping cough and pneumonia. The funeral, conducted by Rev. Jacob Frounfelter, was held Sunday morning. Burial at the Lanam Cemetery.
