My go-to source of information for genealogy research in Indiana is a publication by George K. Schweitzer titled INDIANA GENEALOGICAL RESEARCH. Typically, Schweizter lists available records county-by-county. There is no indication that tax records are available for Bartholomew County. To date, I have not found any inaccuracies in the information Schweizter provides. Copies of this book are still available.
