The article is accompanied by a number of pictures. H. C. "Happy" Littell, was the Monon station agent from 1909 until 1941. On the day of his death, he went to the doctor's office but was in a hurry because he did not want to miss the evening train when it rolled through. When the doctor turned away to prepare some medicine, Happy died. His shocked friends carried him on a cot to the depot just in time to meet the last train of the day.
