THE EXCEL STEAM DYE WORKS The Excel Steam Dye Works located at 412 East Kirkwood Avenue, is an enterprise that justly deserved favorable commend. The fast-increasing business of this house, under the efficient management of Charles B. Masten, owes its success largely to the quality of work turned out. In the cleaning of clothing, of which this house makes a specialty, it has certainly reached the height of perfection, and the excellent service rendered to hundreds of regular patrons speaks more for the business than we can tell. The Dye House was established here in September of 1894, and since the day of its opening, the proprietor states that he has commanded a satisfactory trade.
