The information noted below was abstracted by Randi Richardson from the documents available online for George Arnold. George Arnold served as a private under Capt. Richard Quinley in the War of 1812. He enlisted as a substitute for John Morgan on September 23, 1812, and was discharged October, 24, 1812. He received bounty land in compensation. On June 14, 1815, he married Elizabeth Stevens in Harrison County, Indiana. In 1850 and 1855, he was living in Harrison County, Indiana. In 1871 he was a resident of Otterville, Cooper County, Missouri.
