    2. Jeffrey Vaillant
    3. The Evening News [about 17 Dec 1889] reported his death as follows: Death of Commodore Rader. Commodore Perry Rader, father of Thomas B. Rader, of the First National Bank died at his son's residence yesterday afternoon. Mr. Rader was a jovial kindhearted gentleman and was liked by everyone. He was born in Boone county, Ky., in 1829. Many years ago he moved to Henryville and remained there until his son came to this city to live when he accompanied him. He was a man not able to do hard work and rather than be idle, last Spring he accepted the position of janitor of the Chestnut street school building. He was taken ill of pneumonia last Thursday and grew gradually worse until the grim monster relieved him of all earthy troubles. The funeral takes place from the residence of Thomas B. Rader, North Spring Street at 1 o'clock today and the remains were taken to Henryville for burial. Jeffrey L.
