Columbus (Bartholomew County, Indiana) Evening Republican, February 4, 1897, p. 4. Announcement is made of the marriage of Miss Lillian Frances Bartlett to Dr. John H. Hess at Mt. Pleasant last Wednesday. Dr. Hess is a nephew of Mr. J. W. Hess of Indianapolis and resided there for a number of years while attending the dental college. He is a son of Mrs. Martha Hess who was for a long time a resident of this city. Dr. Hess, his father, practiced dentistry here for a number of years.
