BROWN'S SECOND CONVICT IN TEN YEARS Matt Sturgem and Absolom Hampton of Brown County were taken to the Southern Penitentiary yesterday by Sheriff King for stealing a bridle and saddle. They will serve one year. They are the first persons sent to prison, except one, in ten years from Brown County and is the first double conviction since Brown was incorporated with Bartholomew in a judicial circuit.
