Seymour Daily Republican, January 21, 1898, p. 1. SALESMAN DROWNED Paoli, Indiana, January 21-E. T. Cross, a salesman for Trip Bros. of North Vernon, was drowned six miles south of here while crossing a stream. The horses were also drowned and were washed half mile downstream.
