BANK CLOSED [Special Dispatch to the Cincinnati Gazette] Salem, Indiana, July 9-The First National Bank of this town has closed its business here and will go into liquidation. Some twelve or fourteen months ago the cashier of this bank, James N. Baynes, defaulted for $30,000 and ran away. The loss was made good by his father-in-law, but the bank has not paid since as a business investment.
