THE FIRE RECORD Jeffersonville, Indiana, May 28-Riders & Co.'s Flouring Mill on Old Market Street was burned at midnight involving a loss of $11,000 in building and materials with only $3,000 insurance. Craig & Osborn's Furniture Factory in the same building was also destroyed. Loss $3,000. William Patterson and Lawson Brown, firemen, were severely injured by the falling debris. The fire is supposed to have been the work of an incendiary.
