WANT TO SETTLE FOR $50 The Board of Commissioners has offered Truancy Officer Balsley $50 for his services up to January 1 which is less than one third the amount of his claim filed. Mr. Balsley will not consent to such a settlement as it is not in accordance with the law. The claims of the other truant officers have not been passed upon by the board as yet.
