A few days ago passenger train No. 5 on the Monon had a race with an automobile. The auto belonged to Chas. Thomas, of Chicago Heights and was a big High power car that cost $7,500, wagered Tom Flynn, also of Chicago Heights, that he could get from Dye to Louisville, Ky., quicker in his car than Flynn could on the passenger train. .
