Three brothers, all prominent citizens, are residents of Stinesville. Mr. Easton resided for some eight years in Linton and was engaged in the grocery business a portion of this time. He was also a partner with Virgil Robertson for a time in the coal business and was a citizen respected and admired for his sterling qualities. Politically Mr. Easton was a staunch Democrat and came from a family of Democrats, standing always high in the councils of his party. He was not a member of any organizations, but was a Presbyterian. March the first, last, Mr. Easton moved his family to Sanborn where he took charge of a hotel. A few days after he was taken ill and was bedfast with the exception of some four days, until the time of his death.
