    3. Hello an ancestor is mentioned as having been in the Improved order of red men, minnie kannie tribe, norristown. Does anyone have any info on this group. He was born 1863 and died 1911, so it would have been between those time spans. Thank you!

    3. Dear Ms. Clark:    Although I'm not the person who wrote the message below, I, too, have been looking for info from the Improved Order of Red Men but have not received any helpful response. I hope you can help me, too.   I'm seeking info about my grandfather Lewis/Louis Edward Farmer (aka Lewis/Louis Edward Drew) who was a member of the Indianapolis, IN, tribe.  He died at the age of 37 on February 6, 1933, in Indianapolis.  I don't know how long he was imvolved with the organization and would appreciate any info that might be available.  (I do understand that sometimes "no information" is an answer.)   Best regards, Christine Drew   From: Marge Clark <MargaretQClark@comcast.net> To: improved-order-of-red-men@rootsweb.com Sent: Sunday, September 9, 2012 12:28 PM Subject: Re: [IMPROVED-ORDER-OF-RED-MEN] norristown pa minnie kannie tribe? 3. I believe there is someone who serves as the national historian for the group (in Texas?). I received information from him when I inquired about my grandfather who was a member in upstate New York.
