    2. Dan Steffen, Thanks so much for the information about the loss of the burial records in El Paso in1880, due to fire. I went back to the El Paso history website and to the "El Paso Story". It's wonderful to be able to read it online---I was wondering how I would find those pages you mentioned, as I live in Oregon Besides those pages, the whole story is interesting. Some good people in El Paso have my appreciation. I checked the Myers listed and think two of them may be my gg grandfather, John C.Myers brothers. Then I found my g grandfather, David McCutchen, son in law of John, on pg 247 with an article about the Co. "D" he commanded in the Civil war. I'm finding a lot more than I expected. I have sent for death certificates for John and Elizabeth Myers. Do you have any suggestions on where I could find an obituary ? They were Methodist ,so I can try for a church record. Thanks again and best wishes, Pat Salyer
