I hadn't looked up David McCutchen in the Illinois State Archives database yet and will do that first to avert any disasters. I was wondering if the County Court House in Eureka had burned down, some time in the past, also. They had no record of death certificates for John C. and Elizabeth Myers, and with my luck-----?
