My ggrandmother was Magdalena STORTZ b 1 Jun 1831 who married August FISCHER in the early 1850s. They lived in the Metamora IL area and later in the Roanoke IL area. Is there anyone on the list familiar with the early STORTZ history or working on that family? In the 1940-60 time period I believe my father Ben FISCHER stated that we were related to some of the STORTZ families that were living in the area. I do not know what the connections was.
