    3. In my reply to Nita, I said IRAD might have microfilmed the El Paso newspapers. Actually, it is the Illinois State Historical Society. Infomation on their holdings is at: http://www.state.il.us/hpa/lib/default.htm Click on the "Illinois Herald" banner about halfway down the page, then click on the search link on the next page and enter city="El Paso", county= "Woodford" and select "Illinois" to see a full list of their holdings. There is also a link for genealogical search requests on the main page. It wasn't working this morning, but I looked at it last night and the cost for out-of-state residents seemed to be rather steep ($10, If I remember correctly). It was much cheaper for Illinois residents. They do have the El Paso newspapers microfilmed--in fact, seem to have a more extensive collection than the El Paso library. Dan Steffen
