Amy: What a generous and thoughtful offer. Thank you. I am interested in the MOORE family, starting with Lena, born in 1869 to Luther MOORE and Sarah V. SCEARCH in Eureka. I am also interested in the WHITE family. Lena married William WHITE on Christmas Day, 1888, in Eureka. He, according to family legend worked on the railroad and was killed in an accident between 1894-1897. He was supposedly born in Washington, in Tazewell County in c. 1864. My understanding is these towns are not that far apart, so his parents, Embers WHITE and Emma (y) THOMPSON could have been from Woodford. Any help you could give would be sincerely appreciated.
