Hi Patti ! I have a little infomation on Jost Schroder who was married to Trintje (also known as Katie). My gg-grandfather, Mimke, was one of Trintje's brothers. John Aden (another brother of Trintje) and Jost were very close friends. The Schroder name originally has those two dots over the "o". Later the name was changed (not sure legally or by useage) to Schroeder. John and Jost moved their families to Butler County, Nebraska in the spring of 1880 onto land which Mimke had bought for them. Am very interested in making a connection with you to share other information..hopefully we can fit some missing puzzle pieces! Ill on Jan 1, 1877 per Bible records. He married Trintje Aden 23 Jan 1877, I assume in Woodford Co. because of the date. Born 16 Aug 1849, Trintje (or Thrintje) was born 6 Jan 1856. Children were Margaretha, Heyo, Peter, Johann, Hinrich, Cente Maria, Catharine, Joseph and Martin Theodor. Thanks, Patti G. :-)
