    3. I'm the shy person looking for information about a place called Hallam Burying Ground. My Gr-Grandfather Douglas Rush is buried there. We know nothing of the Rush family. Douglas died when my grandmother was only 5 years old, putting his death year around 1896. My aging mother has asked me to find out what I could about the Rush family. Douglas had a sister named Cornelia, and one that grandma called "Aunt Rye." Also looking for connections to Christian Gerth, who was a farmer, age 50, from the 1850 Census, Woodford County. Wife is Alice Gerth, daughter Mary. Mary married Charles Brown in Leavenworth, Ks. Charles W. Brown may also be from Woodford county. They lived also in Wisconsin, where some of the family is now buried at Hazel Ridge Cemetery, Elkhorn, Wisconsin. (Thank you, Amy. Maybe I did not decend from alien creatures after all!) Sharon
