Does anyone have a listing, or know of individual churches in the Eureka area during 1870 that would still be around? I'm looking for my g-grandfather's birth record. He was born about 1871 before the state required them. I have no idea what the family's religious leanings were although I believe he is the grandson of Caleb Davidson, who helped found the church in the Walnut Grove area during the 1850s. I think it was called Christian Church? Please feel free to pass on to me any other suggestions you have for finding the certificate. Thanks! Becca Davidson
