This is my first posting to this list, I am searching for records of my 2nd Gr grandparents, John KUHN and wife Katrina BUGENBERGER KUHN. They were residents of Woodford Co. (prob. near Metamora) for about 15 years- 1855 to 1870. When they relocated to Wichita, Kansas. I have been unable to find ANY records on them for this period of time. Family story says John applied for and was granted citizenship in Woodford Co. They were both from Germany, met on ship and landed in NY in 1852. married in 1854 and migrated to IL. My Gr. grandmother, Emma KUHN was born in Woodford Co. and believe there are at least 4 children who died young, buried there. August being one of them. They had 14 children, 10 lived to adulthood. I am unfamiliar with records and sources in this county, can anyone help with look-ups and or places to search for anything on this family? I am especially interested in the citizenship records and cemetery records for them. Is the 1860 census for Woodford Co. on line anywhere? Is there a state census between 1855 and 1870 for Woodford Co? ANY help will be sincerely appreciated. Thank You. Sharron Redden, CA
