    1. [ILWOODFO] WARREN Family Photograph
    2. Shelley Cardiel via
    3. I've "rescued" an old photograph of Floyd Keim WARREN which was taken at the William Griffin Studio in Hebron, NE. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1890's or early 1900's with Floyd noted as 14 months old at the time. A note on the back of the photograph also indicates that this is the child of Sadie ROWLAND'S Sister's daughter. The photograph was recovered with many photographs and two albums belonging to the LICHTY and ROWLAND Families. Based on limited research I was able to locate the following information regarding Floyd and his family: Floyd K. WARREN was b. 16 Jun 1898 in Reynolds, NE to parents Estella V. KEIM (b. 31 Oct 1874 in Salisbury, PA) and George E. WARREN (b. 4 Dec 1872 in Minonk, IL). Floyd was one of 5 children born to this couple including, Floyd K.; Dorothy or Dorotha Fay; Harold E.; George A.; and Mary Harriet WARREN, all born in Nebraska between 1898 and 1905. Floyd married LaMona Bernard MAPES (b. 2 Mar 1901 in Nebraska) on 16 Jul 1925 and together they had a daughter, Delores Viola WARREN b. 16 Jul 1926. Floyd died 6 Oct 1935 and his wife LaMona died in 1987. Census records provide the following details: 1900 census of Reynolds Village, NE: George E. WARREN, age 27, born Dec 1872, married 3 years, born IL, parents born England/IL, a Farmer Stella WARREN, wife, age 25, born Oct 1874, married 3 years, 2 children/2 living, born PA, parents born PA Floyd WARREN, son, age 1, born Jun 1898, born NE Dorothy WARREN, dau, age 3 months, born Feb 1900, born NE Frank WARREN, brother, age 25, born Aug 1874, born IL, parents born England/IL, a Farmer George S. WARREN, father, age 62, born Jun 1837, married 33 years, born England, parents born England, a Grain Speculator Hattie WARREN, mother, age 52, born Aug 1847, married 33 years, 3 children/2 living, born IL, parents born IL 1910 census of Buckley, NE: George E. WARREN, age 36, married 13 years, born IL, parents born England/IL, a Farmer Estella V. WARREN, wife, age 34, married 13 years, 5 children/5 living, born PA, parents born PA Floyd K. WARREN, son, age 11, born NE Harold E. WARREN, son, age 8, born NE George A. WARREN, son, age 6, born NE Mary F. WARREN, dau, age 4, born NE 1930 census of York, NE: Floyd K. WARREN, age 31, married at age 27, born NE, parents born IL/TN, a Packing Company Salesman La Mona WARREN, wife, age 29, married at age 25, born NE, parents born NY/NE Dolores WARREN, dau, age 3 years and 6 months, born NE I am hoping to locate someone from this WARREN Family so that the photograph can be returned to their care. If you are a member of this family, or you know someone who might be, please contact me. Shelley

    3. Hello Woodford List...This came in this a.m. but I just got to it. It says it is from you but, in fact, it appears that the list has been scammed in some way. It certainly is an ad and does not have the least thing to do with genealogy. Unfortunately I cannot tell you what to do about it, but someone must have the skills. Good luck getting this straightened out! 3. Thanks for your time and effort to respond. Yes, the Schieber family you mentioned are descendants of the Schieber that I mentioned. I am not sure about the Schreibers as I have not been able to connect any relatives to Louisa. I will save your information. I am going to follow up on the Google Books suggestion. Thanks again. Robert Render was my Mother's father and James her Grandfather. I believe on the Sharpe side that Robert married Nancy. Oh shoot I am away from home and do not have my records with me so I will try this again when I get home. Thanks Linda for doing all this for the rest of us.
