I have just purchased a copy of the 1860 Williamson County Census from the GSSI. I noticed that there is a note stating: "If an * appears by a name we have additional information on this person compiled from court records, county histories, cemeteries and area residents. For a SASE JoAnn Hatfield and Helen Lind will share this information with you." Quite a few of the names I am researching have an "*" by their names - however this book was first written in 1976. Does anyone know if these women are still offering this service?
