Sorry, I can't help you with the church records, but, I'm interested in your statement your relaative might have been Cherokee. My great grandmother was considered 'full blooded Cherokee', they told me her name was Mary Elizabeth Red Cloud, her marriage record was Mary Elizabeth McIntosh.... she married Peyton Carol Greer, 1864, Union Co., IL , but they lived in Johnson Co. ALL my relatives are sure she was Cherokee.... but we have no proof at all. Just keep this in mind....
