The cenus reads: 214/201-(anyone know how to make anything of this location?) DUNGE, Chs (Charles Dungy) 63 TN farmer 2500 400 (anyone know what these two number represent?-I was thinking acreage, but there are two, so I am thinking not.) Nancy, 80 TN (I think this is a misprint as he had a wife named Nancy and I dont' think she would have been that much older than he!) T.H. 22 TN-this is Timothy Dungy...he served in the Civil War ***Harriet 18 TN....( I think she was called Hattie-other gals down the line are named Hattie)......Here is my mystery......I cannot find her on the face of the earth after this census......I cannot find a marriage, a death, or any other census for her after this one........any suggestions? Thanks, Jacquie P.S. another daughter and her family are listed nearby: James and Mary Breeden ILWILLIA-D-request@rootsweb.com wrote: ILWILLIA-D Digest Volume 06 : Issue 3 Today's Topics: #1 Atwood family [toni_gen@juno.com] Administrivia: To unsubscribe from this discussion list, send an e-mail message to the address that contains the word in the body. I still work on my genealogy, and I am raising a great grandson who just turned 5 years old a few weeks ago. [by myself] Some months ago I saw where someone posted information on my great Aunt (Narcissa) she is the sister to my great grandmother. I had no real proof of this, so I am grasping at straws you might say. And I am going to put it out to ask for your help from some kind soul. I have been trying to find this part of the family for over 15 years. Also looking for more on my great grandmother. E-mail me on that one. I did look up Timothy Dungy on the 1870 C. as follows: Dungy, Timothy age 30 b: Tn Narcissis 26 Nancy 80 So your assumption that the 1860 C. was in error on Nancy's age is correct. She was still a little older than her husband and if she was 70 in 1860 she would have still been too old to have been the Mother of Harriett!! She would have been 48 when Timothy was born and that is a little old also. Hope this helps some.
