To answer the question "where to get divorces?" I started putting abstracts of divorces from the Williamson County Circuit Clerk's office in the quarterly, published by the Williamson County Historical Society, "Footprints in Williamson County, IL." There are five pages of divorces starting in the Summer issue 2004 and will continue until I finish the older files. When finished I will put them all in one book which will be available through the WCHS. Back issues of the quarterly are available bundled by year starting in 1998 up to 2005.
