1. glad I got curious
2. Hi List, I am so excited. This may be a little long, but please take the few minutes to read. I was happy to get back on this list after accidentally dropping it, but then didn't think it was working and kind of suggested a roll call. I haven't even posted my names, but the list has me fired up again. For roughly 5 years I have been trying to research the family of Abraham Howard in mainly Jackson County as that was where he settled when migrating from Pennsylvania in 1863 or so. I found a few lines and then hit all these brick walls and decided to work on something more constructive. During the past 2 weeks I have made new contacts and am all fired up again. Last year I transcribed the Howard Cemetery and started trying to connect the families buried there. Through this I have made several new contacts and just last night reading the roll call on Williamson County I realized that I haven't paid enough attention to Williamson County. My family must be scattered over most of Southern Illinois. Main concerns are HOWARD, MORRIS, CHITTY, RICH, CARTER, GOSNELL,PHILLIPS. Until today I didn't realize that there were several ways in which these families were connected. Please Click here: HOWARD CEMETERYdonated by Sharon Newton Burnes and see if any of these names connect with your research. Thank you and Have a great day!!! Sharon
