I just found the maiden name of my great-grandfather's brother, Spencer Jasper Waters. Texi was a Smart and was from the Creal Springs, Ill. area. If anyone knows the Smarts, I'd love to hear from you. Texi died in 1961. I'm not sure when she was born, but I imagine it was around the 1890's..
