If does anyone have access to this Census? Dear Joyce, There is a State Census for Williamson Co IL, I obtained a microfilmed copy of it several years ago through interlibrary loan at the Mid-Continent Genealogy library in Independence MO. I would imagine it can be obtained through the LDS Family History Centers, too. The Williamson Co IL census evidently had some damage to its pages and certain portions are difficult to read, of course it was the pages that I needed for my Burnetts and Clarida's in the Crab Orchard area. I was able to reconstruct the numbers by reading totals at the bottom and sides, but a few names were obliterated, too. Since this is a snapshot of a time directly at the end of the Civil War, it was interesting to note how closely the families lined up, unlike in the years 1860 and 1870, where families will be together in the general vicinity, but can be separated by several of their neighbors. I noticed this for several collateral families that are usually living close to the Burnetts and Clarida's, as well. I'm sorry, I don't have information on the Owen's brothers.
