    3. Hi! Are divorce records available in Williamson County? I am researching the family of John and Nancy Carr. They moved from Jackson County, Alabama to Stonefort in the early 1850s. My guess is about 1853. Sometime between then and 1860, that family split up. Nancy Taylor Carr moved with daughter Bethana and son Elihu to Stone County, Missouri with Taylor and Edwards relatives. John Carr in 1860 census was living with daughter Nancy and son in law John Abner Spence in Stonefort, Saline county. He cannot be found in the 1870 census. His daughter Nancy Carr died in 1913. The death was recorded in Saline county. It showed no names of parents, so no specific locations of their births. She was buried in Joyner Cemetery. Considering the location of Stonefort, if there was a divorce, it could have occcurred in Williamson as easily as Saline. I am also checking Saline County. Thanks for any help. 3. I am also interested in the divorce records from this era. I am looking for Elihu Parsons divorce from Margaret Holmes Parsons. Family history is that they had one daughter Sarah and Margaret was pregnant with son John when Elihu left with his parents. Margaret married Crad Deaton several years later. Any info on this family or divorce? -----Original Message----- From: LDF Fly Fishing Tackle [mailto:ldffish@hotmail.com] Sent: Wednesday, December 15, 2004 12:24 PM To: ILWILLIA-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [Wmsn Co IL] John Carr and Nancy Taylor Carr--possible divorce Hi!
