My husband's 2nd great grandparents were: William D. SPILLER m: 28 Dec 1851 Williamson Co. IL to Harriet WARDEN. By family tradition this man left to look for work, and was never heard from again. His son, Albert Scott SPILLER was born 18 Oct 1852 in Williamson Co. IL. Harriet's father, Peter WARDEN appears as a debtor on the estate record of Warrenton B. SPILLER. Possibly the Hamelton (Hamilton) RAGSDALE who is also listed in the estate records may be the husband of Martha WARDEN another daughter of Peter. PLEASE NOTE: He is NOT the William D.
