I have access to an interesting biography of the Harvey G. Van Hoose family of Kentucky, Illinois and West Virginia. Names included in the biography include Van Hoose, Adkins, Conner, Frank and R.A. Bowling. The connection to southern Illinois is through the early mining industry in Herrin and Christopher, in West Virginia , Mingo Co. and in Kentucky, the Cos. of Elliott, Lawrence and Boyd.
