Hello The Williamson County Historical Society, Museum, Book Store and Genealogy Library is open to visitors Thursday from 9 - 3 and every third Thursday from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm. We invite everyone to use our genealogy library. Members of the WCHS receive a discount on copying cost and also receive our quarterly "Footprints In Williamson County, IL." We are located in the old Williamson County Jail, 105 S. Van Buren, Marion, IL. Tours are available for individuals or groups.
