Evenin Folks, I am searching for the parents of Jane Catherine McDaniel b. abt 1835 probably Franklin/Williamson/Johnson counties. Census records show the birthplace of her parents as Tenn. Jane married Walter Damron 1849 Williamson Co and then married George Washington Deaton 1856 Williamson Co. Jane and George lived in the Bolton Twp area of Williamson Co. then in Burnside Twp in Johnson Co. In the area of Bolton there are many McDaniels listed as their neighbors, among them was a Marg. McDaniel that would have been old enough to be her mother along with a son Elias. I have several records of Jane's childrens marriages and Elias McDaniel often witnessed the marriages. My theory is they might be of the same family. If anyone has any knowledge of Jane and who her parents were please contact me. Jane and her family have troubled me for a very long time.
