John and Jane came from Mecklenburg Co., Virginia to Williamson Co. where they raised their family of 12 known children. John died April 11, 1874, Sarahsville, Williamson Co., Illinois. Croslin, Jr. Elizabeth Corder Valentine Rich Mary Ellen Tanner Emily S. Fuller James H. Gregory Rufus S. Carter and Elizabeth Corder are my direct line. Rufus died of typhoid fever near Humboldt, Gibson Co., Tennessee in the civil war. His widow Elizabeth married 2 William W. Wood and drops off the face of the earth.
