Thank you. My mom and her beauty shop were well known in Marion. Mom went to CA at 17 and attended beauty school (1927). She came back and had to go to West Frankfort to beauty school to get her IL license (1928). I have them both hanging on my wall. We spent everyone weekend in Marion and went to church at the Methodist Church that is close to downtown. We bought tamales from Bennie when he had a horse and wagon to sell them from. So. Court was cobblestone then and I can hear the horse and wagon when I concentrate. We ate regularly at their restaurant when it opened. I forgot our other relatives there. Clyde and Pauline Spiller were cousins. Pauline was the daughter of Henry and Texi Waters also. They had three children, Susan, Clyda, and Tom. I think Tom still lives in the area. Sharon
