    3. Loraine, By todays standards Creal Springs is rural. However there was a time when it was a thriving community with it's own college. The "springs", naturally occurring springs around which the village grew, were a big draw. Today there is a bank, one or two (small, locally owned) places to eat and a convenience store/gas station. The school is part of the Marion school district, grades K-9 with high school age kids bussed to Marion High School.
