Would anyone out there know of any cemetery's in the pre 1800 to 1840"s in the williamson , saline, pope county areas. My family lived in Stonefort Illionis and several family members were buried in the Old Bolton cemtery but there are still several people I am looking for that died in the early part of the 1800's. Betty, Check out Drake Cemetery in Williamson County. It's on Drake Road within a few miles of Stonefort. It's a very old cemetery that's still active. The oldest part contains a number of sandstone markers.
